We are seeking three experienced Earth Observation Specialists to join our team and support the Copernicus Programme, focusing on the management and integration of CCM data and services. Esyen is an engineering company offering services to the Space Industry, working with major international Customers and Agencies like EUSPA and ESA. Since 2012, we play an active role in major European Space Programmes, contributing to domains such as Earth Observation, Navigation and Secure Satellite Communications. Our team has a solid track record in providing Ground Segment services within major EU space programmes in Italy, Germany, France, and Spain, with a strong commitment to innovation and quality of service.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

✅ Education

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field, including but not limited to engineering, Earth Sciences, Computer Science.

✅ Technical Skills

  • Proven knowledge of the Copernicus Programme and CCM data
  • Strong understanding of technical documentation processes.
  • Systems integration, verification, and evolutions
  • Maintenance on IT system and interfaces (knowledge of CDSE and WEkEO is an asset)
  • technical evaluation of emerging EO data ordering and access infrastructures
  • Familiarity with end-to-end operations, particularly Earth Observation systems, is preferred.

✅ Additional Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Earth Observation projects or related space programs.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities.
  • Strong communication skills in English (minimum B1+ level).
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within Europe
  • Eligible for security clearance

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Support the client in managing routine operations related to the CCM Rapid Response Data (RRD) activities.
  • Facilitate the integration of CCM data providers into the CCM RRD platform, ensuring the fulfillment of Copernicus Service requirements.
  • Oversee ongoing integration activities performed by both CCM RRD and data providers, ensuring end-to-end operational efficiency and user satisfaction.
  • Review and optimize data access infrastructure solutions, guiding the CCM RRD integration for rapid on-demand data provisioning. Review the validation plan and results.
  • Monitor CCM end-to-end operations, develop and manage independent tools for performance monitoring of CCM data providers and the RRD platform.
  • Assist in the administration and management of contractual relationships with CCM data providers.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and evolution of CCM activities, supporting technical documentation review and anomaly management.
