What the job looks like
Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:
- Collaborate to drive a comprehensive multi-year sustainability strategy according to global target
- Identify opportunities and execute projects to minimize the site’s environmental footprint in consultation with manufacturing team and external consultants
- Support achievement of Key Performance Measures (KPIs), monitoring progress and identify opportunities for improvement and provide recommendations based on findings
- Collaborate on compliance with legal obligations, operational procedures, Grünenthal GOBS standards, regarding EHS
- Collaborate to ensures correct operation of the Safety and Environmental Management System certified according to ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
- Perform internal EHS audit according global and local plans
- Evaluate the efficiency of the plant and the production lines for the safety and environmental aspects
- Perform general and specific risks evaluation, develop and implement EHS action plans, supporting in the coordination/resolution of EHS emergency situations in needed
- Collaborate on managing staff training in the EHS field
- Collaborate in energy monitoring, definition of KPI and target and energy management.
What you'll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:
- University degree in Safety Engineering or comparable
- 3-5 years of experience as an EHS Specialist/ASPP in manufacturing plants
- Fluency in business English
- Innovation and willingness to work in a high performing team
- Interpersonal understanding, communication and ability to motivate others
- Track record in managing multiple conflicting priorities and projects
