What we are looking for
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Network Engineer to join our global IT infrastructure team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and supporting secure and scalable enterprise network solutions across our global footprint, with a particular focus on Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA, ZDX), Cisco Meraki, and interconnection with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) through platforms such as Equinix Fabric.
This is a hybrid 3rd-level engineering and network architecture role, ideally suited for someone with a solid hands-on background and the ability to interact with cross-regional teams and external partners.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain Zscaler configurations and policies (ZIA, ZPA, ZDX), following Zero Trust Architecture principles
- Configure and manage Cisco Meraki environments across retail, office, and datacenter sites
- Oversee and optimize global WAN, SD-WAN, and cloud interconnection (IPWAN, VPN, private peering) with providers such as Equinix, AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute, Google Cloud Interconnect
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and act as L3 escalation point for networking incidents and performance issues
- Collaborate with service providers to ensure SLAs, operational health, and incident resolution
- Participate in service reviews, project planning, and audits in collaboration with global stakeholders
What you'll need
- 4–7 years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking (LAN/WAN/SD-WAN) and cloud connectivity
- Strong operational and architectural knowledge of Zscaler ZIA/ZPA/ZDX, including PAC file management, tunnel modes, and advanced firewall policies
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki Dashboard, templates, policies, and remote troubleshooting
- Proven experience in cloud interconnection (e.g., Equinix Fabric, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, Interconnect)
- Good understanding of routing protocols, MPLS, VPNs, DNS, NAT, BGP
- Familiarity with monitoring tools, logs, and custom alerting integrations
- Fluent English is required (written and spoken)
- Able to work independently and coordinate with international teams and vendors
- Zscaler Certified Professional (ZCCP-IA, ZCCP-PA) – Required or commitment to obtain within 6 months
- Cisco CCNP Enterprise – Required
- Cisco Meraki CMNA/CMNP – Preferred
Nice to have:
- Experience with Zero Trust strategy and microsegmentation
- Scripting skills (Python, Bash) or familiarity with infrastructure automation
- Experience in global retail or multi-site network environments
- Familiarity with Equinix Network Edge and Cloud Router concepts
