General Description of the Role
Global IT Sr Business Analyst – Manufacturing, reporting to the Global IT Sr Manager Supply Chain, is a member of the Global IT Team dedicated to the Supply Chain functional area. As a key member of the Global IT Supply Chain team, the Senior Business Analyst for Manufacturing plays a pivotal role in bridging business needs with technology solutions. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing IT systems that support manufacturing operations across the Group. This role involves close collaboration with global, regional, and local stakeholders to ensure that IT initiatives align with business goals, deliver measurable value, and foster innovation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES
Business Partnership & Value Realization
- Serve as the primary IT liaison for the Manufacturing functions, ensuring alignment between business objectives and IT capabilities
- Engage proactively with global stakeholders to understand evolving business needs, identify improvement opportunities, and propose innovative solutions
- Lead the analysis and documentation of business processes, ensuring that IT solutions are designed to enhance efficiency, compliance, and scalability
- Collaborate with business leaders to develop business cases for new initiatives, including ROI analysis and value tracking
- Ensure that global IT solutions are adopted effectively across regions, and continuously improved based on user feedback and performance metrics
- Represent the point of contact for any questions concerning the global solutions for Manufacturing, maintaining effective communication channels and positive working relationships
- Ensure continuous improvement of live applications by regularly evaluating current solutions against business needs to deploy a major level of effectiveness and efficiency
- Guarantee proper Service Level and continuous improvement of application reliability and performances
- Proactively introduce external innovations into the Campari Group on a regular basis
Project Management
- Define and manage detailed project plans, ensuring alignment with the broader Global Supply Chain IT roadmap
- Apply standardized project management methodologies to ensure timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality outcomes
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams, including internal stakeholders and external vendors, to drive execution and resolve issues
- Facilitate smooth transitions from project implementation to operational support, working closely with the Global Service Delivery team
- Provide regular updates to steering committees and senior leadership on project progress, risks, and strategic decisions
Innovation & Best Practices
- Continuously scan the market for emerging technologies and best practices in manufacturing IT, bringing fresh ideas into the organization
- Benchmark Campari’s IT capabilities against industry standards to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement
- Promote internal knowledge sharing by identifying and scaling successful practices across regions and teams
Stakeholder engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including:
- Global Manufacturing Teams – to align on priorities and ensure business needs are met
- Regional & Local IT Teams – to ensure consistent implementation and support of global solutions
- External Vendors & Consultants – to manage performance, innovation, and contractual obligations
- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, helping them navigate technology decisions and maximize the value of IT investments.
Skills & Competencies
- Technical & Functional Expertise
- SAP (PP, PM, MM) – Deep understanding of SAP modules relevant to manufacturing is essential for system integration and process optimization; other SAP modules knowledge is a plus
- MES Systems – Hands-on experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) is essential for managing shop floor operations and data
- Lean Manufacturing – Practical experience or certification in Lean principles is required to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Project Management – Proven ability to lead complex projects across multiple geographies and functions. - Business Acumen – Strong grasp of end-to-end manufacturing workflows, including production, maintenance, and quality.
- OT Tools & Standards – Familiarity with SCADA systems and OT cybersecurity standards (e.g., NIS2, ISA-95) is a plus for ensuring secure and compliant operations.

Education & Experience
- 4-7 years in similar roles within multinational or consulting environments, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing sectors
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields
- International experience and a global mindset are essential
- Certifications such as ITIL v4, Agile, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma are considered advantageous
