What you will do
As the Sales Manager for the Indirect HVAC business across South West Europe, you will lead initiatives to grow the business. You will develop and execute strategies that increase market share, enhance revenue growth, and maximize profitability within the indirect HVAC segment. Under your leadership, you will coordinate with regional sales teams and stakeholders to align objectives, set performance targets, and track progress against growth goals. Channel Partner Expansion and Performance Management is going to be a key success factor for this role.
Your will be providing guidance and support to ensure that the sales teams are equipped with the necessary tools, knowledge, and resources to succeed. In addition, you will analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for expansion and improvement throughout South West Europe.
You will collaborate with product management and marketing teams to launch new products and drive promotional activities that resonate with target customers. A strong emphasis will be placed on training and developing the sales force to enhance customer engagement and improve sales techniques. You will be expected to operate with the highest standards of business ethics.
How you will do it
- Lead the development of strategic sales plans aimed at doubling the indirect HVAC business, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives. Accelerate the channel partner expansion and drive performance management.
- Foster collaboration and communication among regional sales teams to enhance operational efficiencies and drive sales effectiveness.
- Utilize data-driven insights to identify high-potential markets and customer segments, tailoring sales strategies accordingly.
- Oversee the execution of promotional campaigns and product launches, ensuring that all marketing materials and sales tools are effectively utilized.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies and tactics as needed to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Conduct regular training sessions and workshops for the sales team to improve product knowledge and selling skills.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners to enhance brand loyalty and drive sales growth.
- Provide support for complex sales opportunities, leveraging technical knowledge and expertise to close deals effectively.
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities, using this information to refine sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management, detailing progress towards growth objectives.
What we look for
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of sales management experience in the HVAC industry, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth. Preferable in the distribution / channel partner segment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Demonstrated analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
