IT Process Specialist
As part of our ongoing commitment to digital transformation and operational excellence, we are looking for a proactive and skilled IT Process Specialist to join our team.
As IT Process Specialist, your mission is to ensure the efficiency and reliability of our SAP and satellite systems by driving process improvements, supporting users, and coordinating technical solutions. You will act as a key interface between business units and IT, contributing to the strategic development of our digital infrastructure
Varisco Product Company is a well-established and ever-expanding company. It manufactures pumps, both for dewatering and industrial applications. In 2016 Varisco was acquired by Atlas Copco, a Swedish multinational company with 150 years of history behind it.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Analyze and improve business processes in collaboration with operational teams.
- Act as the first point of contact for SAP and satellite system users, providing training, resolving issues or escalating to consultants when needed.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders at both local and divisional levels to align system functionality with business needs.
- Manage relationships with external partners to ensure timely and effective support.
- Support the implementation of new workflows and system enhancements.
- Ensure collaboration between IT and business units for efficient integration of systems and processes.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects as a process expert and project leader.
- Promote the use of data-driven tools (e.g., Power BI) to support decision-making and performance monitoring.
- Prepare the entity to change from SAP ECC to S4/HANA in the coming years
Experience requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, with proven experience as a project leader.
- Solid knowledge of SAP, including ABAP and query writing.
- Experience in project management; certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, CAPM, or ITIL are a plus.
- Familiarity with production assembly processes, materials management, and manufacturing systems is an advantage.
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI is a plus.
- Strong command of English and italian, both spoken and written
Education requirements
- University degree in Information Technology, Engineering is preferred
