Job Description
Turner and Townsend Italy are now expanding their HR team and are seeking a Junior HR Generalist to join our dynamic team and collaborate with senior management in shaping and converting the strategic direction of our local HR operations. 12-month fixed-term contract, with possibility of extension.
Key tasks:
As a Junior HR generalist you will be part of the HR team in Italy. You will report directly to HRBP.
- You will contribute to various HR activities such as HR administration, on-boarding of new employees, compensation, benefits and learning & development, working closely with the HRBP and recruitment team.
- You will grow into the following key responsibilities:
- Provide day to day support to the Italian team on HR related matters;
- Support the HR Manager in implementing HR strategies and solutions;
- Maintaining HR and personnel administration including pro-active absence management
- Coordinating on-boarding of new employees and relocation assistance;
- Co-design, develop and execute HR plans and solutions (Learning and Development, Compensation & Benefits, External mobility).
Qualifications
- You have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organization Psychology or Business Administration, preferably with 1-2 years working experience within human resource management, ideally within a corporate environment;
- Your learning ability is high and you have a natural curiosity to understand people, and processes better;
- You are pro-active and energetic;
- You see possibilities to improve an organization, and will pro-actively advise and propose improvements;
- You are self-motivated, flexible and are able to work under pressure;
- You have strong analytical, problem solving skills and are a critical autonomic thinker;
- You have the natural ability to connect with others; you are a true team player. You are able to build and sustain excellent relationships at multiple levels in the organization;
- Your Italian and English are at a professional level
- Knowledge of Italian labour laws (preferred)
