Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Trainee to join our W&I M&A team. The internship offers hands-on exposure to transactional risk insurance and the broader M&A ecosystem. You will support the team in the review, structuring, and placement of W&I insurance policies, gaining insight into both legal and financial aspects of M&A transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the analysis of M&A transaction documentation (e.g. Sale & Purchase Agreements, Due Diligence reports)
- Support the preparation of submissions and pitch materials for insurers
- Help coordinate communications between clients, legal advisors, and insurers
- Conduct market research and benchmarking on M&A and insurance trends
- Participate in internal meetings and, where possible, in client calls
- Maintain internal databases and manage document flow
The Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s student in Law, Business, Finance, or related field
- Genuine interest in M&A, private equity, and transactional risk insurance
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with great attention to detail
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
