Manitowoc, international leader in providing premiuon lifting solutions with Potain and Grove brands, is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to be based in the italian production plant in Niella Tanaro (CN).
Main Responsibilities in the Role
- Collect process improvements needs from value stream managers and supervisors of all productive lines: Tower, Moibile and Supply Chain
- Propose, implement and supervise improvement actions in terms of working conditions, safety, environment, quality and costs in coordination with the managers concerned
- Collect and analize data referred to va / nva analisys, define action plans and implement activities supporting operation
- Define the technical specifications for equipments and fixtures
Receipt the tools in the factory and check that the received equipments are compliant with the regulation - Support new product industrialization in collaboration with Engineereing, Quality, Production, Logistics and Purchasing
- Maintenance of production BOMs and definition of routings. Implementation of ECOs in Niella Plant
- Interface with Logistics/Purchasing/Plant Controller/Production/Engineering for new Items & BOMs & Routings
To be Successful in this Role
- Fluent in Italian and knowledge in English
- Technical Diploma or Degree
- At least 10 years of experience in manufacturing workshops
- Very good knowledge of assembly means / tools and processes
- Good knowledge of timing measurement and definition of working methods
- Good knowledge in industrial lean manufacturing process (kanban, SMED, 5S, Kaizen, TPM...)
- Good in technical drawing: Autocad 2D and Creo or other 3D modeling
- Good organizational skills
