Job Summary
As our new Processing Sales Manager within Market Company South Europe you will be responsible for the sales of processing solutions for new and existing customers in Italy and also for selected Key Accounts. You will be responsible for the local sales strategy and setting up activities with the purpose of growing our customers’ business. You will be the main point of contact for the customer and collaborate closely with cross functional colleagues to find the best solutions. Focus will be on understanding the customers’ needs and providing value-based arguments to secure order intake in a competitive market.
This is a permanent position and is based in Rubiera. The position requires approx. 30% of travelling time.
What you will do
- Be responsible for the sales activities for customers and prospects. Your primary focus is Ice Cream
- Create the sales plan and the commercial strategy for your area
- Interpret the customers’ needs and ensure the Tetra Pak offer meets those needs. As a partner, you create value by thinking strategically about both existing and future investments and production services
- Create solutions, quote and negotiate deals/ contracts with customers using value selling process
- Present technologies & proposals to customers
- Negotiate orders to achieve the expected selling price and margin
- Identify opportunities for new products and development of the existing portfolio
- Capture customer requirements accurately using different questioning techniques to configure solutions that maximize value for Customer and for Tetra Pak
- Build and cultivate strong understanding, relationship and alignment across all levels of customer’s organization
- Amplify customer’s voice by identifying gaps across customer touchpoints systematically and driving proactive improvement actions and closing the loop with customers.
- Balance between physical and digital ways of working to ensure efficiency
- Understand and comply with Tetra Pak’s commercial practices framework, regulatory framework and general code of conduct.
We believe you have
- A university degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Between 5- and 10-years’ experience from the processing industry, preferably ice cream
- Experience from customer management
- Negotiation experience
- A fluency in English, both written and spoken
To be successful in this position we believe that you are a commercially driven person with excellent communication and sales skills, with an ability to develop and maintain trusting relationships. You are comfortable in presenting value-based solutions, and you also have some experience working with CRM and ERP systems. Collaboration comes naturally to you, and you always put the customer first.
