Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
Position:
We are looking for Village Coordinator-Bormio.
The Bormio Village will be hosted across four existing hotels, with their facilities adapted and integrated to create a seamless and fully functional environment for all residents during the Olympic Games.
The Village Coordinator-Bormio supports the Village Manager in overseeing the Village team and operations, assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of all activities to ensure smooth daily functioning within the Village.
He/She will be responsible for:
- Supporting the planning phase by contributing to the finalization of the Village Operations Plan, ensuring alignment with details provided by other Functional Areas operating within the Village;
- Attending venue team meetings and relevant collaborative sessions with Milano Cortina 2026 colleagues, assisting in communication and coordination;
- Assisting as a point of contact for access-related requests from other areas, helping manage permissions, operational needs, and movement flows within the Village;
- Collaborating closely with hotel owners and local authorities to maintain strong working relationships and ensure operational alignment;
During Games time, being present on-site throughout the day to support the Village General Manager in overseeing operational phases, including bump-in, fit-out, security checks, arrivals, inventory and inspection, departures, and ceremony operations, ensuring all activities proceed smoothly and on schedule.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in large-scale event management or operations, preferably in a supporting leadership role;
- Previous experience in Olympic, Paralympic, or multi-sport event environments is a strong advantage;
- Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to assist in coordinating complex operational activities;
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to manage relationships with diverse stakeholders;
- Strong team management and leadership capabilities, especially in high-pressure and fast-paced environments;
- Full professional proficiency in both Italian and English (written and spoken); Knowledge of Bormio area and its local context is essential.
