- Destination Management - Take ownership of Klook’s supply strategy in Italy, focusing on top destinations such as Rome, Venice, Florence, Milan, and key regional markets. Build local insights, nurture relationships with merchants and institutions, and represent Klook on the ground with professionalism and credibility.
- Sales Acquisition & Pipeline Growth - Identify, target, and onboard new suppliers—from iconic attractions and local tour operators to transportation and regional experiences. Build a healthy, sustainable pipeline of high-quality supply that meets Klook’s demand, quality, and pricing benchmarks.
- Pitching & Negotiation - Deliver compelling sales pitches tailored to each supplier’s needs. Negotiate commercial terms, onboarding standards, and strategic agreements (e.g., bulk ticketing or preferred partnerships) that set suppliers up for success and maximize Klook’s competitiveness.
- Market Research & GTM Strategy - Use internal and external data to identify demand gaps, traveler trends, and competitive pressure points. Share market intelligence to guide go-to-market strategy, product development, and campaign prioritization.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with regional and global teams—Marketing, Product, Tech, Operations, Content, and Customer Experience—to ensure smooth product launches, high-performing listings, and campaigns that convert, especially for key segments like Asian and American travellers.
- Language Proficiency: Native or fluent in Italian, with strong English skills (spoken and written). Additional European languages are a plus.
- Sales Techniques: Proven experience in pitching, negotiation, consultative selling, and closing deals to onboard and grow merchant accounts.
- Pipeline Management: Experience identifying, developing, and nurturing a pipeline of quality suppliers to meet strategic growth targets.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think critically and develop plans that capitalize on opportunities and solve commercial or operational challenges.
- Customer Focus: Strong commitment to understanding traveler behavior and building attractive, high-converting products that meet evolving customer needs.
- Market Research & Analysis: Skilled at analyzing data and trends to uncover gaps, evaluate competitors, and inform business direction.
- Business Acumen: Solid understanding of tourism or e-commerce KPIs and how supply performance contributes to overall company success.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Comfortable aligning with internal teams to execute plans, optimize listings, and support supplier operations.
- Teamwork & Communication: Strong communicator and team player who builds rapport quickly and presents ideas in a concise, persuasive manner.
- Adaptability & Resilience: Self-organized and focused in fast-changing environments; capable of navigating ambiguity and iterating quickly.
