About Aethos Monterosa
In the middle of the Aosta Valley, below the Monte Rosa and Cervino glaciers, lies Aethos Monterosa – a 30-room five-star active luxury resort featuring two F&B outlets, a SPA, and its own climbing and ice climbing wall. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Greeting guests and providing a warm welcome
- Assisting guests with menu selections and answering questions
- Taking orders accurately and transmitting them to the kitchen promptly
- Serving food and beverages with attention to detail and presentation
- Supporting the preparations for the service and making sure all areas are always looking their best
- Supporting the preparation of all necessary mise-en-place
- Cleaning agreed designated areas, in accordance with laid-down procedures, morning/evening routines, and hygiene requirements
- Collaborating with the Maître and kitchen staff to ensure overall restaurant success
Core Competencies
- Fluent in English & Italian is a must
- 3+ years of hospitality experience is a plus
- Must be a natural host and passionate about the hospitality industry in general
- Flexible schedule - long hours and regular evening event coverage can be necessary
- Ability to make thoughtful decisions and give constructive criticism
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by guests
- Maintains regular attendance in compliance with Aethos Hotel Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel
- Comply with Aethos Hotel Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations
- Maximizes efforts towards productivity, identifies problem areas, and assists in implementing solutions
- Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times, whilst remaining genuine
