Job Mission:
Lead and inspire the country sales team to achieve profitable growth, operational excellence, and outstanding customer satisfaction, while upholding Piab’s values and strategic vision.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Participation: Actively contribute to setting the direction for the VA division and developing growth strategies for the region as a member of the VA EMEA Sales Management Team.
  • Tactical Execution: Develop and execute tactical plans aimed at driving profitable growth.
  • Sales Performance: Achieve sales and profitability plans by promoting and tracking weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales objectives.
  • Customer Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance loyalty and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Governance: Implement efficient sales governance and processes to drive profitable growth.
  • Data Management: Ensure timely and accurate updating of sales data in Salesforce and generate sales reports as required.
  • Talent Development: Hire, coach, and develop talent within the sales team.
  • Career Development: Establish career and personal development plans for direct reports.
  • Incentive Plans: Implement incentive plans in line with group directions to drive both short-term and long-term profitable growth.
  • Business Networking: Develop and utilize a robust business network within target industries, maintaining contact with all sales channels, direct customers, and relevant trade and industry associations.
  • Trade Shows: Assist with trade show preparation and coverage as needed.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Facilitate the sharing of success stories and best practices with other regions and support cross-selling of Piab’s other divisions’ products.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with Piab’s Code of Conduct at all times.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Actively promote and work towards Diversity and Inclusion in line with Piab Group’s practices.
  • Climate and Resource Efficiency: Advocate for Climate & Resource efficiency in accordance with Piab Group’s practices.
  • Travel: Engage in frequent business travel as required.
Requirements:
  • Language Proficiency: Excellent written and spoken English & Italian.
  • Presentation Skills: Proficiency in using various tools to deliver effective presentations.
  • Performance Under Pressure: Ability to deliver results under pressure.
  • Project Management: Capacity to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation abilities.
  • Self-Organization: Capability to work independently and organize tasks in a complex environment.
  • Sales Process Knowledge: Deep understanding of multi-channel indirect and direct sales processes.
  • Financial Acumen: Good understanding of financial metrics and measures necessary to meet Piab’s financial targets.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with a keen interest in leadership and people development.
