Job Description:
Mission:
- coordinate the project technical development, manage the engineering team across all disciplines, drumbeat the overall engineering workflow, overseeing costs, schedules, and risks for successful project delivery.
Activities:
- In the frame of the Line of Business Engineering Unit, manage the engineering team reporting to the head of System Engineering department, coordinating with the Program Manager of the assigned project.
- Define and coordinate the entire project development cycle, from planning and design to final delivery.
- Manage the engineering interface with customers and suppliers (in collaboration with the Program Manager and Industrial Manager) to ensure compliance with technical requirements and delivery deadlines.
- Maintain the Engineering Plan in consistence with other project plans and constraints (such as the Development Plan, Verification Plan, and the like).
- Plan and monitor resources, including budget, personnel, and tools necessary for project completion.
- Manage technical risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of developed products.
- Provide stakeholders, both internal and external, with reports on the progress of engineering activities.
- Supervise activities related to analysis, design, development, and integration of the project, including the production of related documentation.
- Manage and coordinate project meetings and reviews.
- Lead the technical development and coordination of optical instruments, ensuring alignment with project plans, managing performance verification, and overseeing costs, schedules, and risks for successful project delivery.
Essential Requirements:
A minimum of a technical diploma or equivalent qualification;
Strong public speaking skills;
Good command of written and spoken English;
