    • This position may require travel to places within and outside the contiguous United States which could include remote or isolated sites. You may be required to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

    • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
    • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

    Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Incumbent initiates, prepares, monitors and administers the business management policies and procedures of the Public Works Department; 2) Plans, develops, recommends and prepares changes in procedures and organization, reviews and coordinates procedures and business rules; 3) Overseeing the departments budgetary and financial processes and procedures to monitor cost center operating budgets, staffing levels, and efficiency targets of various programs; 4) Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets priorities and prepares schedules for completion of work; 5) Responsible for Information Assurance and Physical Security be determining effectiveness of internal controls for maintaining practices, determining adequacy of supporting documentation and compliance with directives.     PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The work is principally sedentary and requires observance of minor safety precautions to avoid risks typical of an office setting (such as carpal tunnel, repetitive stress injury, or eye strain). Occasional job site visits require walking, crouching, and climbing.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT: The incumbent works in an adequately lighted and ventilated office environment. Occasional job site visits include exposure to risks associated with these types of work such as adverse weather, high noise, dust, confined spaces, and other typical construction hazards. The use of personal protective equipment is required when on such a job site. Education
