We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.As Lean Transformation Lead you will play a critical role in driving improvement initiatives at enterprise level and has direct responsibility for achieving results together with plants and functions leaders. As Lean Transformation Lead you will be able to constantly tune yourself to business priorities, catching opportunities and anticipating problems, you will need to adapt the effort of a lean team of Experts so to meet KPI’s targets levelling out the workload and planning for the future in a timely manner.

Essential Responsibilities
Coaching and Leadership Development:
Act as a coach for peers and extended organization members, including higher-ranking individuals.
Drive the transformation and influence the development of strategies for growth, including designing experiential and formal training plans for future leaders.
Capture training needs, set up development plans, and organize/deliver training events as a Subject Matter Expert.
Promote a sense of community and cross-fertilization within the organization.
Lean Standard Work and Kaizen Approach:
Understand, deploy, and structure lean standard work to transform the way of work.
Define and supervise RoadMap on agreed topics, ensuring alignment with lean principles.
Promote standard piloting and define new standards, integrating with other Subject Matter Experts.
Drive Improvement and main Achievement:
Drive targeted functions toward improvement to achieve KPI objectives.
Make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering.
Identify gaps and opportunities for learning, driving step changes, including benchmarking.
Act as a project manager to deliver key initiatives or projects that improve lean culture and techniques.
Share and Standardize know-how:
Know how to communicate effectively with every level of the organization, helping individuals improve their lean journey.
Promote and plan cross-fertilization to share best practices and foster collaboration.
Knowledge Management and Standardization:
Support Knowledge Management (KM) on standard materials.
Promote the use of standardized processes and materials from Avio Aero and GE Aerospace.
Qualifications/Requirements
Engineering Master's Degree with previous experience in manufacturing roles or manufacturing engineering roles.
Knowledge about processes and manufacturing technologies.
Process simplification techniques and proven knowledge in process redesign with the aim to reduce lead time and routers.
Significant lean experience: knowledge of lean techniques, with the ability to architect lean systems based on theoretical basis, translating the theory in a rightly adapted business system for operations
Ability to analyze and resolve problems, attitude to coach others in define problem appropriately and methodologically solve them
Ability in coaching and mentoring others. Proven experience in driving turnaround in complex contexts, translating previous experiences in flexible support for the environment, master in agility, resilience and flexibility
Strong leadership and credibility so to captivate operational leaders in the willingness toward lean
Fluent in Italian and English
Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
Willingness to travel as required by the role
Desired Characteristics
Lean and/or 6 Sigma certifications to be considered a plus
Strong interpersonal skills so to be able to influence a transformation with several different stakeholder in matrix organization
Attitude to deal with high pressure situations, deal with conflict, ability to negotiate, strong change management skills
A great resilience is required to keep leading a transformational roadmap in a context where most actors are not familiar with and steps back are always a threat
Demonstrated ability to lead projects and ability to incorporate lessons learned. Ability to document, plan, and execute development plans
Established project management skills, with proven success on the field
