We’re seeking an Account Manager with expertise in IT and software engineering services to join our team in Milan.

Do you have a passion for digital transformation and want to help clients in Italy harness technology for business growth?

This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with top-tier engineering, digital innovation, and design teams to shape product visions. As an Account Manager, you will hold a critical role in ensuring the success of this account, encompassing responsibilities such as commercial management, identifying new business opportunities, and overseeing delivery processes.

In this position, you will coordinate with cross-functional teams to consult, design, and deliver digital innovation and transformation solutions for a range of industries. Your industry knowledge and experience in technology applications will drive organizational change across diverse focus areas. Your client management skills will help you foster relationships and explore opportunities for the broader business unit.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice to clients regarding the latest technology advancements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver transformation projects focused on technology in various sectors
  • Evaluate client opportunities with sales and pre-sales teams, manage RFPs, craft proposals and presentations, establish relationships with senior-level clients, and finalize new agreements
  • Define and oversee consulting projects, establish suitable operating models, coordinate project team structures, and lead the transition from sales to delivery
  • Monitor emerging trends, unique opportunities, and challenges in client sectors and markets, offering clear insights into how these affect their businesses and strategies
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with senior clients as well as internal and external partners to drive growth within the business unit and portfolio
  • Align with the objectives of the Business Unit, supporting overall financial goals such as revenue and profit targets

Requirements

  • Broad and deep knowledge of IT, software engineering, or digital transformation services
  • Established background in technology-focused, innovative leadership roles or an equivalent position within a leading consultancy
  • Industry experience working with clients; familiarity with the Energy sector is an advantage
  • Flexibility to travel when required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with competency in engaging senior stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage client engagements in dynamic environments, successfully driving digital innovation transformation projects to completion
  • Sound business acumen with strategic and commercial skills, numerical proficiency, negotiation expertise, and advocacy for diversity
  • Proficiency in written and spoken Italian and English
