A Day in the Life
As a Business Operations Manager within the Western Europe (WE) team, you will play a central role in launching and scaling CWX technology across the region. You’ll be the go-to contact for multiple stakeholders involved in selecting and activating new customers, working closely with local teams and global headquarters to ensure alignment with the overall commercial strategy. From coordinating documentation like offers, contracts, and IT due diligence, to supporting installations, training, and early adoption phases, you’ll help ensure a smooth onboarding process for new sites.You’ll also support the team by keeping reporting tools updated, tracking progress across new and existing accounts, and assisting with key tasks tied to the integration of this innovative technology into the Medtronic portfolio. Our customers include a range of clinical and non-clinical professionals, mainly in Interventional Cardiology, and you'll be working with a cutting-edge solution—CathWorks—which uses angiograms to create a 3D model of the coronary artery tree, enabling non-invasive, device-free assessment of vessel lesions.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Contribute to the definition of new account activation plans in collaboration with SHQ and local stakeholders, ensuring alignment with global guidelines.
- Participate in alignment meetings with global and local teams to define priorities and support the achievement of launch and ramp-up targets for both new and existing accounts.
- Coordinate the execution of new customer launches, including organizing and leading kick-off meetings, managing IT due diligence, and arranging on-site activities for system installation and training.
- Help maintain accurate and reliable reporting tools at SHQ level to provide performance updates across various leadership levels.
- Support the development of strategies for the launch and growth of CWX in Western Europe.
- Contribute to setting targets, defining business models, and supporting financial planning related to CWX expansion in Western Europe, including market potential simulations in collaboration with the Marketing team.
- Serve as the first point of contact for local stakeholders during activation and early adoption phases, helping to troubleshoot issues and coordinate responses with relevant teams (logistics, technical consultants, sales representatives).
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in management engineering, business, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in a structured, complex organization.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and initiatives effectively.
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to maintain accurate reporting and performance tracking tools.
- Experience in the healthcare or medical device industry is preferred; background in top-tier consulting is a plus.
MBA is a plus.
