As Customer Lead Application Engineer, you will responsible of:
- Instrumentation selection for machine monitoring and protection; design and management of the relevant technical documentation as required (P&I’d, Control Narrative, IO List, etc.)
- Controlling and Monitoring system architecture design and configuration definition, with relevant control logics (including PLCs and Bently Nevada Racks); design and management of the relevant technical documentation as required (Racks configuration, Panel GA drawing, etc.)
- Electrical machines scope analysis, definition and selection, including Electric Motors, VFDs, Transformers, E-Houses, LV and MV Switchgears
- Creating of purchase specifications and manage technical alignment with vendors and customers
- Respecting project schedule deliverables during bidding phase, Technical and Commercial timing submission to Internal / External Customers
- Managing with customers and suppliers of any technical issues rising during the bidding phase
- Attendance of internal and customer Technical and Commercial meetings
- Providing technical support to Commercial team (ComOps and Sales)
- Coordinating and leading a small team of outsourced designers/drafters keeping contacts with customers and suppliers
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Masters' degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- Relevant experience in Power Electronics, Electrical Machines Design & Operations, Instrumentation and Control Systems with a solid background in Electrical Systems Engineering / Integration / Validation
- Confident in design, test and analysis tools and systems
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Oracle interfaces
- Ability to work in a global and matrix environment; be confident and speak with authority in the network of experts and in project teams
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, effective team building and problem solving abilities
- Fluency in Italian and English is essential with good Verbal and Written Communication skills
- Accountable for EHS performance
