Key Purpose:
Drive Improvement Projects increasing productivity and reducing waste, complexity and costs in the different area of the site. Evaluating, planning and implementing the whole project activities. Coordinate Engineering and Electrical Maintenance, external services and maintenance companies.
Key Responsibilities:
-Work closely with internal (QHSE, Manufacturing, R&D,...) and external (group teams, suppliers, contractors, authorities,...) key stakeholders regarding technical support of activities; contribute to the site Management Team and take the lead on key site improvements, provide visible leadership and vision.
-Responsible for all areas of the Site Engineering function as well as quality of service level, striving for best in class practices and managing teams/projects.
-Accountable as a single point of contact for overall Project delivery; define, execute and monitor all projects in terms of specifications, tender, budget and CAPEX creation by determining specifications, resolving design issues, selecting contractors, establishing installation schedules, planning shut-downs and installations;
-Establish and ensure Site Engineering, including Electrical maintenance, annual budget costs to meet financial objectives through scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
-Create and deliver project work plans to meet agreed Business requirements & project objectives; measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
-Steer Key Performance Indicators across all areas of Site Engineering function, making sure that tasks/projects are delivered on cost and on time.
-Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
-Inspire, motivate and develop staff/team members to achieve excellence and mentor them as they build up new new skills.
-Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental issues are prioritised and facilitated by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures compliant with standards and/or legal regulations.
-Implementation of Continuous Improvement strategy across all Site Engineering related areas.
Technical Competencies & Qualifications:
Master Degree on Engineering/related field or equivalent experience
At least 5 years of experience in role and, prefereable, in the same or similar field of production
Project Management
Mechanical – Hydraulic - Electrical and OPEX solid bases.
