SOSi is seeking a highly qualified Subject Matter Expert (SME) VOIP / VTC Engineering Specialist to support US Army requirements in the Europe & Africa Area of Responsibility (AOR).

SOSi is seeking a highly qualified Subject Matter Expert (SME) VOIP / VTC Engineering Specialist to support US Army requirements in the Europe & Africa Area of Responsibility (AOR).
- Lead the planning, design, engineering, operation, maintenance, defense, and employment of enterprise IT communications services, including VOIP and VTC.
- Architect voice, video, and data communications systems, including cloud-based solutions.
- Supervise installation and post-installation service and maintenance.
- Direct the installation, troubleshooting, removal, or replacement of VOIP and secure voice end-user devices.
- Coordinate with other offices and conduct site surveys to resolve complex issues across unclassified and classified networks.
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years’ experience, or an Associate’s degree with a minimum of 14 years’ experience, or a high school diploma with a minimum of 16 years’ experience.
- An active Secret security clearance with an SSBI.
- DOD Cyber Work Force (DCWF) 451 Certs: SecurityX / CASP+ or CCNP Security or CCSP or FITSP-O or GFACT or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint for document management and various administrative tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders and organize materials for In-Progress Review (IPR) meetings.
- Experience producing metrics and reports using Microsoft Office tools.
- Proven administrative support experience, assisting contractor management with various tasks and projects.
- Demonstrated history of discretion, independent judgment, and self-direction.
- Normal office conditions with potential to perform duties in deployed locations.
- Core hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 0600 – 1700.
- May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
- It is anticipated that contractor personnel will be required to travel on Temporary Duty (TDY) to various CONUS and OCONUS locations based on USAREUR-AF and Mission Partner requirements.
