We are seeking an experienced and driven International Sales Training Manager to join our International Marketing Team. This role is both strategic and hands-on—designed to elevate capabilities, accelerate performance, and embed a high-impact learning culture that directly supports our international commercial objectives. You will play a key role in shaping the development of our sales teams across diverse markets, partnering cross-functionally within a dynamic matrix environment. Collaborating closely with commercial leaders, marketing, sales, and compliance, you’ll assess learning needs and deliver innovative, market-relevant training solutions that empower teams to succeed. Let’s talk about some of the key responsibilities of the role:
- Learning Needs Analysis: Conduct ongoing assessments to identify and prioritize the evolving learning needs of our International Sales teams, ensuring alignment with commercial goals and market dynamics.
- Curriculum Design & Development: Build robust new hire and ongoing development programs that reflect our core brand strategies and empower teams with the knowledge and skills to succeed.
- Collaboration Across Borders: Partner closely with the U.S. Sales Training team to share insights, leverage content, and adopt best practices that elevate learning globally.
- Blended Learning Approach: Define and implement a modern, blended-learning strategy rooted in adult learning principles—integrating digital, experiential, and peer-to-peer learning.
- Strategic Business Partnering: Serve as a trusted consultant to Country Managers and Regional Sales Leaders, co-defining training priorities and resource allocation with a focus on measurable business impact.
- Annual Training Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive training roadmap that supports field force effectiveness through national sales meetings, regional touchpoints, and tailored initiatives.
- Content Creation & Delivery: Design and deliver impactful learning experiences—from foundational onboarding to advanced skills workshops—for both sales and customer-facing roles.
- Sustain Learning Through Tools: Create engaging, easy-to-use pull-through tools such as coaching guides and job aids to reinforce learning and embed behavior change.
- Ensure Compliance: Manage the review and approval of training content to meet internal standards and comply with regulatory, legal, and medical requirements.
- Execution & Delivery: Lead the rollout of training programs including onboarding for new hires, advanced development sessions, national meetings, and virtual modules.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing to align on sales strategy messaging and ensure timely, relevant training around campaigns and promotions.
- Manager Capability Building: Design and deploy targeted training to enhance leadership effectiveness and coaching capability across sales management.
Skills and Qualifications Required for this Dynamic Team Member:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical device sales
- Minimum 3 years of experience designing, developing, and facilitating sales training
- Strategic mindset with the ability to align learning solutions to business outcomes
- Strong organizational, presentation, and communication skills
- Energetic, self-driven, and solutions-oriented
- Collaborative and inclusive team player who builds strong cross-functional relationships
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

- Travel: Approximately 30% international travel to connect with key stakeholders and support business growth.
