We are hiring an IT Deskside Support Specialist to provide on-site technical support for a client in Rome. This role is part of a global IT team, supporting both legal professionals and business staff with daily technology needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide second-line onsite IT support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices (iOS), printers, telephony, and other office equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues (Windows 10/11, Office 365, Azure Virtual Desktop).
- Support meeting rooms and video conferencing (Webex, Teams, Zoom) and provide VIP/Executive support.
- Install, configure, maintain, and relocate IT equipment (computers, phones, cabling, peripherals).
- Assist with office/desk moves and ensure all IT resources are set up and functioning.
- Document incidents, solutions, and technical procedures in the IT system.
- Work closely with global IT teams and external vendors to resolve escalated issues.
- Participate in local IT projects and contribute to process improvements.
- Provide end-user training and guidance on IT tools when required.
- Ensure excellent customer service and maintain professional relationships with staff at all levels.
Requirements:
- 3–5+ years of experience in IT deskside/desktop support or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 365, Azure Virtual Desktop and Microsoft System Center
- Basic networking (TCP/IP, cabling, VOIP, wireless)
- Experience with incident/ticketing and asset management systems (ITIL knowledge or certification is a plus).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to solve complex technical issues independently.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
- Proactive, reliable, and customer-focused, with a professional attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Flexible to cover on-call, weekend, or shift work when needed.
Contratto di lavoro: Tempo pieno, Lavoro a progetto
Durata contratto: 12 mesi
Retribuzione: €2.550,00 al mese
