Job Description Summary
The Planning Lead, International Markets is responsible to manage and lead a group of End to End Planners responsible for supply of RLT product across international markets. The Planning Lead, International Markets drives network supply, according to agreed target for own portfolio, and ensures demand completeness, accuracy, and stability within the tactical (0-3 years) and strategic (3-10 years) horizon for finished product. Responsible for consolidation and allocation of dose demand based on independent demand input from the markets and customers in the tactical horizon (0-8w).

Major Accountabilities
Accountable for International Markets Planning team management and leadership within the team.
Responsible for consolidation and allocation of demand based on independent demand input from the markets and customers in the tactical horizon (0-8w).
Responsible for business rules related to capacity allocation and standby strategy across the network.
Ensure that the complete independent demand from all forecasting entities (Affiliates, Novartis Pharma Services countries, Development, 3rd Parties) and the resulting net requirements is passed to all manufacturing sites.
Leads Supply Scenario Analysis across the supply network within the tactical horizon, makes proposals for decisions on COGs versus inventory assessments, for decision in the Technology Platform and S&OP Processes.
Coordinates site tactical planners in creation of the site production plans across the network, drives alignment of de-coupled production and dual/ multiple product sourcing networks.
Responsible for completeness, accuracy, and stability of finished product net requirements across portfolio.
Responsible for supply escalation management, and supply risk analysis within assigned product portfolio.
Supports geo-expansion efforts and platform growth initiatives such as new sites & expanded capacities.
Serves as SME for system implementation, integrations or changes related to demand consolidation & planning.
Responsible for driving pipeline lead time improvements within the supply network in conjunction with the brand lead to optimize supply risk management and overall inventory values.
Essential Requirements:
BS/ BA in life science, engineering, business or relevant experience.
Minimum 5 years relevant professional experience ideally gained in the pharmaceutical, Bio-Pharma or similar industries across various disciplines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation development skills.
Change and project management experience.
People management skills.
Fluent in English. Fluent in Italian preferred.
