We are looking for a Power Trader dedicated to the Long Term Trading willing to join our Energy Market department in the Trading and Origination area.Our business is continuously growing and expanding, and we are looking for someone willing to be challenged every day in an international environment.
Job Description:
Main Responsibilities
Execute the financial and physical fixing for Nadara Energy Trading portfolio managing pricing, profiles, volumes and zonal risks;
Execute the hedging for Internal and Third Party assets according to the Hedging Policy in OTC or Regulated Markets (EEX, ICE);
Exploring alternative contractual frameworks between SPVs and the company in order to optimize and to facilitate the hedging process;
Managing proprietary trading activities (power, gas, EUA, oil) on Financial platform (EEX) monitoring financial exposure and respecting the trading policy;
Developing trading models which will improve performances;
Developing with the trading and Commercial asset governance team a Trading around the Asset policy and framework to increase company’s revenues;
Prop trading on cross-border activities (JAO, SEECAO);
Reporting on daily basis team’s activities performances.
Key Requirements
A Mathematical / Engineering / Statistical / Finance or similar degree;
At least 2 years’ experience in a trading role;
Deep knowledge of electricity, gas and carbon market dynamics;
Familiarity with quantitative data analysis;
Experience with Risk management, Portfolio management and commodities trading strategies.
Proficiency in English;
Strong analytical skills;
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office;
Good communication, accuracy, results driven attitude and ability to work in team.
