Are you a confident, experienced HR professional ready to make a regional impact? Join Copeland as our Regional Employee Relations Lead – Europe, where you’ll play a key role in shaping our employee relations strategy across a diverse and dynamic region.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment and is passionate about building strong, fair, and compliant workplaces. You’ll be the go-to expert for all things Employee Relations (ER) in Europe—helping to centralize and standardize ER processes, partner with HR and Legal teams, and ensure alignment with local labor laws and Copeland standards.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Lead regional ER activities and manage the transition to centralized support, adapting global policies and tools to local needs.
Serve as the primary escalation point for complex and high-risk ER cases, ensuring timely, fair, and compliant resolution.
Partner with BFHR to deliver hybrid ER support in countries without dedicated ER resources, offering coaching and oversight as needed.
Review and localize global ER policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with national laws and Copeland standards.
Deliver the ER governance cycle across Europe, including campaign execution, education delivery, and stakeholder reporting.
Engage appropriately with Works Councils and statutory consultation processes, coordinating with Legal and HR to meet country-specific requirements.
Educate leaders on performance improvement, workplace expectations, and fair application of HR policies to prevent issues and build organizational ER capability.
Ensure accurate case tracking, escalation, and closure in ServiceNow, aligned with global standards.
Identify case trends and risks, delivering data-driven insights to leadership for continuous improvement.
Collaborate on global ER initiatives and help shape new tools and standards with European input.
For This Role You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5-7 years in HR/Employee Relations, with regional European responsibilities.
- 3 years managing complex ER cases.
- Strong knowledge of European labor law and Works Council practices.
- Comfortable advising across countries, cultures, and time zones.
- Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in English.
- Ability to travel regionally as needed to support local teams.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Master’s degree.
- Prior experience with centralized ER delivery models.
- Any other additional European languages (German, Italian, Czech, Romanian).
