The Documentation Department plays a central role in ensuring that our advanced technical solutions are clearly understood by both internal and external stakeholders. As our new Technical Writer , you will collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and product managers to transform complex technical concepts into clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation , including user manuals, installation guides, handling procedures, and functional specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather technical knowledge and ensure content reflects the latest product updates.
- Edit, proofread, and review content for clarity, accuracy, style, and consistency , ensuring technical information is accessible to different audiences.
- Continuously improve documentation processes, templates, and standards for greater efficiency and quality.
- Gather and integrate user and customer feedback into documentation updates.
- Manage version control , ensuring all revisions are properly tracked and accessible.
- Organize and structure documentation within the company’s document management system .
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering .
- Strong technical background and ability to quickly grasp complex systems.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Technical Writer with a portfolio of technical product documentation.
- Proficiency with SharePoint or similar document management tools.
- Experience with 3D design tools such as AutoCAD Inventor will be an asset
Skills and Competencies
- Perfect command of English (written and spoken).
- Communicative Italian is an asset.
- Excellent ability to translate complex technical information into clear, user-friendly language .
- Strong attention to detail, with consistency in style, structure, and accuracy.
- Analytical thinker able to structure information logically .
