Service Sales Manager


Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop, implement, and manage the account strategy for OEM customers, with a focus on expanding ABB’s market presence through the promotion of motors manufactured in Vittuone MOSE Division-recognized globally as a center of excellence.
Each day, you will coordinate business development activities across global macro-regions, leveraging the local sales network to identify new opportunities and drive growth. You will also showcase your expertise by leading the development and execution of strategic account plans and growth initiatives.

The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid
This role is contributing to the Motion Service Division – in Italy, with global coordination across regional sales organizations; Main stakeholders include OEM customers, local sales teams, product management, and marketing.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Understanding the key drivers of OEM customers and their business environment, identifying opportunities to grow the Italian MOSE motors portfolio.

  • Defining and proposing sales targets for the OEM channel and ensuring they are achieved through structured collaboration with local sales teams worldwide.

  • Creating added value for both the customer and ABB by ensuring a coordinated and strategic sales approach.

  • Promote cross-divisional collaboration while also developing customized solutions to meet our customers' expectations.


Qualifications for the role

  • You are highly skilled in account management and business development within the industrial motors or OEM sector.

  • You have at least 8 years of experience in technical sales, key account management, or business development, ideally with electric motors or related technologies.

  • You possess strong knowledge of motor products and their application especially for the Oil & Gas segment for our motors type AMDT (Flameproof high Voltage Machines) .

  • You are passionate about building relationships and navigating complex global sales networks.

  • Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field.

  • You are fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
