We’re seeking an Account Manager with expertise in IT and software engineering services to join our Milan team.

As an Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of assigned accounts, focusing on commercial management, identifying new business opportunities, and delivery governance.
In this position, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to consult, design, and deliver digital innovation and transformation solutions across a variety of industries. Leveraging your industry knowledge, you will assist organizations in evolving through technology while managing client relationships and identifying opportunities for broader business growth.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic advice to clients on emerging technology trends and their business implications
- Establish and maintain close collaboration with cross-functional teams for successful delivery of technology-focused transformation projects
- Evaluate client opportunities alongside sales/pre-sales teams, respond to RFPs, craft proposals and presentations, secure senior client relationships, and facilitate deal closures
- Define and plan consulting engagements, implement best-practice operating models, and guide project team structuring, ensuring seamless transitions into the delivery phase
- Monitor trends, opportunities, and challenges in relevant sectors and markets, communicating their impact on clients’ businesses and initiatives
- Foster strong, senior-level relationships with clients as well as external and internal stakeholders to drive business unit and portfolio growth
- Align account activities with business unit objectives and support financial targets, including revenue and profit objectives
Requirements
- Broad and deep expertise in IT, software engineering, or digital transformation services
- Relevant industry background including leadership roles focused on digital and innovative technology
- Experience collaborating with clients, particularly in the energy sector as an added advantage
- Willingness and flexibility to travel as required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders
- Proven capability to manage digital innovation programs from inception to successful delivery in demanding environments
- Sound business insight complemented by commercial, strategic, and numerical abilities, as well as negotiation skills and a commitment to diversity advocacy
- Proficiency in Italian and English, both written and spoken
