Position
Within the European retail network, the Junior Merchandiser provide support in ensuring the stores' product assortment according to the budget and the analysis performed.
Job responsibilities
- Support the creation of feedback to HQ on products, customer behaviour, competitors, business opportunities
- Prepare and analyse necessary data for buying sessions
- Support the validation of proposed assortment and define quantities
- Participation in the sales plan definition process by category
- Provide weekly and monthly reports and other relevant analysis
- Nourish competency on business and markets by regular presence in stores 20% of the time
- Work in cooperation with training department to develop category-specific trainings
- Monitor stock level and actively work with Supply Chain Department to maximize launch impact & Sell Through
- Work closely with the Retail team and all stores to maximize their daily sales, providing targets and product focus
- Collaborate with GMs to drive awareness and develop support tools
Profile
- 1 / 2 years’ experience as Retail Merchandiser in a luxury fashion environment
- Bachelor Degree or Master Degree in Business Administration, Management Engineering, or in related field
- Knowledge of the main market players and strong sense of fashion
- Ability to understand current market trends and buying strategies
- Excellent attention to detail and can-do approach
- Adaptability and flexibility to overcome challenges being willing to take on different tasks and responsibilities reacting proactively to different business needs
- Strong relational skills and attitude in team working
- Ability to both communicate and negotiate effectively
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus
- Strong competences in quantitative and qualitative analysis of sales performance
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel); BO, BI experience preferred
