Your Opportunity:
As Senior Manager Store Maintenance EMEA, you will be part of Versace Store Planning and Facility Management team. You will be responsible for the strategy and management of maintenance for Versace EMEA stores, defining global guidelines with regional managers. You will coordinate back-of-house design, ensure store compliance and health & safety, and manage store closures including warehouse inventory.
Your Contribution:
- Budgeting and managing OPEX maintenance costs (preventive, reactive, cosmetic) in collaboration with regional Retail Ops and Finance teams;
- Managing and updating maintenance software (e.g., Fexa);
- Coordinating maintenance works, quality control, supplier management, payment processing, and record keeping;
- Monitoring preventive maintenance for EMEA stores, organizing yearly supplier bids, and scouting new suppliers;
- Defining annual suppliers and contract terms with legal department support;
- Reviewing and validating maintenance priorities according to budget constraints;
- Managing emergency helpline for after-hours, weekends, and holidays;
- Collaborating with Procurement and Legal teams on new contracts, specifications, evaluations, and contract management;
- Conducting regular inspections and audits to ensure service quality and contract compliance;
- Ensuring compliance with energy, environmental, and safety regulations, including training service providers;
- Managing minor works in cooperation with Store Planning;
- Regular store visits to ensure high-quality store environment and customer experience;
- Debriefing store concept and projects with HQ Store Design & Planning teams;
- Supporting CRM and marketing events execution in stores with Marketing and Retail Ops teams;
- Producing and updating operational and maintenance guidelines for all stores;
- Attending O&M training, reviewing documentation, and organizing audits post-construction;
- Building strong relationships with Finance, Visual Merchandising, Retail, Architecture, Legal, and Loss Prevention teams;
- Coordinating back-of-house design and construction documentation with regional Ops and HQ Project Manager;
- Preparing periodic store status reports for regional management and store leadership;
- Creating yearly reports with KPIs, conducting seminars for regional maintenance managers, and proposing strategies;
- Analyzing and improving store concept manuals;
- Liaising with landlords for technical property updates;
- Providing ongoing maintenance training for current and new store managers;
- Overseeing snagging list closure;
- Identifying and managing upcoming store and warehouse closures, including feasibility studies, budgeting, vendor hiring, and sustainable asset reuse;
- Managing store planning and maintenance warehouses, including inventory coordination and reuse strategies.
Your Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Building Engineering or Architecture;
- At least 10 years of experience in EMEA store maintenance, through complex organization, managing wide and prestigious retail network and innovative buildings. Global maintenance thinking and experience is a plus;
- A relationship builder and collaborator recognized for excellent communication skills, attention to details, and follow through;
- A strategic thinker, acting as a leader and inspiring high functioning collaborative teams;
- Privileging teamwork, with great communicating skills;
- Experience in managing providers and with large network / portfolio of suppliers;
- Knowledge of Office Package, AutoCAD, Adobe Design Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design);
- Fluent in English; a second language is a plus (e.g. Italian or Spanish).
