A Day in the Life
We are seeking a motivated individual interested in gaining experience in Business Operations and Marketing support. This role involves working closely with the Country Business Leader and Customer Marketers on tactical projects within the Neuromodulation business. It offers a unique opportunity to acquire hands-on business experience while contributing to key initiatives that foster innovation, improve efficiency, and enhance sales effectiveness.The ideal candidate will play an important role in supporting both operational and marketing functions across the organization. This position requires strong attention to detail, a results-driven mindset, and excellent organizational skills. The Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of business operations and marketing initiatives, directly impacting the success and efficiency of the Operating Unit Neuromodulation. The role is based in Italy, preferably in Milan.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Collaborate with the Country Business Leader and Customer Marketers to execute and manage tactical projects and tools aligned with the key strategic pillars (LEAD–EXPAND–WIN) for the Neuromodulation business in Italy.
- Coordinate meetings and logistics for the Operating Unit's business operations and marketing teams.
- Provide tactical support in line with internal procedures to ensure operational efficiency.
- Support marketing activities, including congresses, training and education (T&E) courses, and event organization.
- Collaborate with Customer Marketers to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Assist in the implementation and adoption of business tools, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at streamlining workflows and enhancing efficiency.
- Support the tracking and reporting of project progress, providing regular updates in line with established operating mechanisms.
- Assist with budgeting and expense tracking related to business operations.
- Liaise with vendors, partners, and agencies to help ensure the successful execution of marketing strategies.
- Monitor and report on marketing performance, including analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Act as a point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Promote effective communication and collaboration across departments to support business goals.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Law, or a related field preferred
- Fluency in English (as part of the work will be conducted in English)
- Demonstrated experience in administrative roles, preferably within business operations or marketing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools, and CRM software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams
- Proactive mindset with a focus on problem-solving and process improvement.
